Dutchess County Executive’s Arts Awards Nominations are Now Open

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY: Arts Mid-Hudson invites nominations for the 30th Annual Dutchess County Executive’s Arts Awards. Residents of Dutchess County and businesses or corporations that are based in Dutchess County are eligible to receive an award. The Dutchess County Executive, in collaboration with Arts Mid-Hudson, annually recognizes outstanding people and organizations contributing to the arts in Dutchess County.
This is the 30th Anniversary of the Awards, originally founded by then Dutchess County Executive Lucille Pattison in 1986 with a purpose to recognize the individuals and institutions that contribute to the area’s artistic quality.
Do you know someone in the Dutchess County Community who does good work in or for the Arts? Do you know an outstanding Dutchess County arts organization or business that supports the Arts? Do you know a student who excels in their art form? Nominate them for the 2016 Dutchess County Executive’s Arts Awards.

Nominations must be received by Monday, May 2, 2016.

Award winners will be recognized by Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro along with the county’s arts, cultural, civic and business leaders, and elected officials at an event on October 6, 2016 at Villa Borghese in Wappingers Falls.
