Connecticut man charged with 20 Felonies following traffic stop in the Town of Milan

Milan, New York – On March 31, 2016, the New York State Police from Rhinebeck arrested Lamy Aldophe, 30 years old, of Bridgeport, Connecticut,  for 20 counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the 2nd Degree, a Class D Felony.

Aldophe was stopped for a vehicle and traffic violation on the Taconic State Parkway in the Town of Milan. Subsequent to the stop, the defendant was found to possess 19 counterfeit Delaware dealer license plates, one of which was affixed to the vehicle he was operating.   Additionally, Aldophe  was charged with possessing a counterfeit Connecticut  Driver’s License with a false name and date of birth.

He was arraigned in the Town of Milan court and remanded to Dutchess County Jail.
