State Police arrest Gloversville man for making a false report

PRESS RELEASE

     On 03/26/16 The New York State Police at Catskill report the arrest of STANLEY P. MORGAN, age 39, of Gloversville, NY for the charges of Falsely Reporting an Incident in the 3rd Degree and Making a Punishable False Written Statement, both class A Misdemeanors.

MORGAN, who was employed by the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision as a Registered Nurse, was arrested after he reported being coerced into bringing contraband into the facility. Investigation into this report by the New York State Police and the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision, Office of Special Investigations Unit resulted in the findings that the incident did not occur as reported.

MORGAN was issued appearance tickets for the Town of Coxsackie court for a later date
