Geraldine Forshaw, 75, a resident of Rhinebeck, NY passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at the Thompson House in Rhinebeck, NY.
Born on March 16, 1940 in Stanfordville, NY she was the daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Ferris) Marshall. Mrs. Forshaw was predeceased by her husband, Richard Forshaw, Sr.
Mrs. Forshaw is survived by her four daughters, Geraldine Mitchell of Boynton Beach, FL, Janet Doty and her husband, Larry, of Tivoli, NY, Ellen Hanlon of Stanfordville, NY and Sarah Forshaw and her husband, Brian, of Bolivia, NC; three sons, Richard Forshaw, Jr. and his wife, Joann, of Sevierville, TN, Melvin Forshaw of Poughkeepsie, NY and James Forshaw and his wife, Reanne, of Blakeslee, PA. She is also survived by five siblings, twenty-one grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Forshaw was predeceased by nine siblings.
Calling hours will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 4, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Amenia Island Cemetery in Amenia, NY.
