Glenham woman arrested for entering Greenhaven Correctional Facility with drugs

Beekman, New York – On January 9, 2016, New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested 38-year-old Patricia M. Harney, of Glenham, New York, for Promoting Prison Contraband in the 1st Degree, a Class D Felony.

Troopers were contacted to assist the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision Office of Special Investigations with the arrest of Harney, who entered the Green Haven Correctional facility to visit an inmate with controlled substances and cash. Troopers placed Harney into custody and transported her to Troop K Headquarters for processing.

Harney was arraigned in the Town of LaGrange Justice Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond. Harney is due to appear in the Town of Beekman Court at a later date.
