Hudson man arrested for sexual abuse

Claverack, New York – On January 5, 2016, New York State Police from Livingston charged 34-year-old Dylan T. Wigley, of Hudson, New York, with Sexual Abuse in the 1st Degree, a Class D Felony.

In December of 2015, the New York State Police, Columbia County Child Protective Services, and the Columbia County Child Advocacy Center, were notified of a possible sexual abuse that occurred between 2009 and 2013.

Subsequent to an investigation conducted by the State Police, it was discovered that Wigley had sexual relations with an underage female victim during the aforementioned time frame.

On December 18, 2015, the Claverack Court issued a warrant ordering Wigley’s arrest.

At the time of his arrest, Wigley was lodged in the Columbia County Jail on unrelated charges.  Following his arraignment before the Hon. Michael Brandon, Wigley was returned to the Columbia County Jail.
