State Police search for man wanted for menacing with a firearm in Cortlandt

**UPDATE**

The New York State Police at Cortlandt continue to search for George J. Foster Jr., age 33, formerly of Cortlandt, New York.  Foster’s last known address is in the state of South Carolina, however he has ties to the Beacon and Cortlandt area.

Foster should be considered armed and dangerous.  Anyone who has information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the State Police by calling (914) 788-8042.

 

Cortlandt, New York -The New York State Police at Cortlandt are currently searching for George J. Foster Jr, age 33,of Cortlandt, New York.  Foster is described as a white male, 5’6″, and approximately 200 pounds.

Foster is currently wanted for Menacing with a Firearm and has outstanding warrants in New York and South Carolina.

Foster was last seen on the 200 block of Locust Avenue in the Town of Cortlandt at about 3:30 a.m. on December 22, 2015.

Foster may be may be accompanied by Renee Jones, age 33, who is also wanted by the State Police from an unreleated incident.

Foster should be considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS.

There is a large ongoing State Police presence in the Locust Avenue area at this time.

If Foster is observed, please do not attempt to take any
action on your own, and call 911 immediately.
