Tarrytown man arrested for Felony Driving While Intoxicated

PRESS RELEASE

Peekskill, New York – On December 19, 2015, New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Edison Zhinin, 35 years old, of Tarrytown, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated, a Class E Felony.

Zhinin was stopped by Police on State Route 9 for failing to maintain his designated lane of travel.  An investigation conducted by the arresting officer revealing that Zhinin was intoxicated at the time of the stop.

Zhinin was charged with Felony DWI when a criminal history revealed a previous DWI related conviction from June of 2010.  The defendant was issued traffic tickets returnable to the City of Peekskill Court on December 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.
