Troopers Arrest Middletown Man for Possessing a Loaded and Defaced Handgun

PRESS RELEASE

State Police at Middletown report the arrest of Malik S. Clark, age 19, of Middletown for Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the second degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the third degree, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. Mr. Clark was arrested on December 20, 2015 after a traffic stop on Elm Street in the City of Middletown, where he was found in possession of a loaded .22 caliber revolver and a small amount of marijuana. The serial number on the revolver had been removed. Mr. Clark was arraigned in Town of Wallkill Court and remanded to Orange County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond. His next court date is scheduled for December 23, 2015 in City of Middletown Court.
