Ossining woman arrested following shoplifting complaint

Cortlandt, New York – On December 6, 2015, New York State Police from Cortlandt arrested 35-year-old Ana Cochancela, of Ossining, New York, for Petit Larceny, a Class A Misdemeanor.
Troopers were dispatched to Kohl’s Department Store to investigate a reported larceny. Loss prevention at that location allege that Cochancela was observed concealing jewelry in her pocket before passing all points of sale failing to pay for the items.
The defendant was released after posting $300 station bail and directed to appear in the Town of Cortlandt Court on December 21, 2015 at 9:00 a.m.
