Putnam Valley man charged with driving while intoxicated

Cortlandt, New York – On December 5, 2015, New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Warren S. Schiele, 50 years old, of Putnam Valley, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

Following a traffic stop conducted on Sprout Brook Road for failing to stop at a stop sign and for an inadequate tail light, Schiele was found to be intoxicated at the time of the stop.

Schiele provided an adequate breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .11% and released with traffic tickets directing him to appear before the Town of Cortlandt Justice Court on December 21, 2015 at 9:00 a.m.
