Cortlandt woman charged with Driving While Intoxicated

Peekskill, New York – On November 28, 2015, New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested 22-year-old Amanda R. Nichols of Cortlandt, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.
Troopers conducted a traffic stop on Carhart Avenue for a vehicle observed speeding on Route 9. An investigation revealed that the driver, identified as Nichols, was intoxicated at the time of the stop.
Nichols provided a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .12% and was issued traffic tickets directing her to appear before the City of Peekskill Justice Court on December 10, 2015.
