East Fishkill man charged with drug possession following traffic stop in LaGrange

LaGrange, New York – On November 24, 2015, New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested Andrew S. Bitteker, 25 years old, of East Fishkill, New York, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.
Troopers stopped Bitteker in the area of Route 376 and Walker Road for failing to maintain his designated lane of travel. An investigation revealed that Bitteker possessed heroin and oxycodone.
Bitteker was issued appearance tickets directing him to appear before the Town of LaGrange Justice Court on December 1, 2015.
