Yonkers man charged with DWI and unlicensed operation

Mount Pleasant, New York – On November 15, 2015, New York State Police from Hawthorne arrested Aaron M. Brown, 24 years old, of Yonkers, New York, for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 1st Degree, a Class E Felony, and Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

Police stopped a vehicle traveling on the Sprain Brook Parkway for changing lanes without utilizing a directional signal.  While interviewing the operator and sole occupant of the vehicle, identified as Brown, Troopers observed clues that indicated he was impaired by an alcoholic beverage at the time of the stop.

Brown was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 1st Degree when an investigation revealed that his driving privileges were suspended in New York.

Brown supplied police with a positive breath sample that yielded a Blood Alcohol Content of .09%, and issued him issued appearance tickets directing him to appear before the Town of Mount Pleasant Court on November 26, 2015.
