North Salem man arrested for driving while intoxicated subsequent to crash investigation

North Salem, New York – On November 16, 2015, New York State Police from the Somers barracks arrested Deegan A. Feeney, 21 years old, of North Salem, New York, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor, Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a Violation, and other vehicle and traffic offenses.

Troopers were dispatched to investigate a one-car auto collision that occurred on Hardscrabble Road in the Town of North Salem.  The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, identified as Feeney, was found to be intoxicated.  Feeney was also charged with possessing marihuana.

Feeney was not injured as a result of the crash.

Feeney supplied a positive breath sample that yielded a Blood Alcohol Content of .23%, more than two times the legal limit of intoxication.  He was issued traffic tickets returnable to the Town of North Salem Court on November 30, 2015 at 6:30 p.m.
