Putnam Lake man charged with Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child in Pawling

PRESS RELEASE

Pawling, New York – On Saturday, November 14, 2015, the New York State Police at Dover Plains arrested 30-year-old, Abner D. Alonzo-Santos of Putnam Lake, New York, for the charges of Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child, a Class A-II Felony as well as two counts of Rape in the Third Degree, a Class E Felony.

The charges stem from incidents occurring in the Town of Pawling where it is alleged that Alonzo-Santos had sexual contact with a female child on multiple occasions over the course of years beginning when the child was 10 years old.

Alonzo-Santos was arraigned in the Town of Beekman Court by Hon John Garito T/J at which time he was committed to the Dutchess County Jail with no bail.  He is scheduled to return to the Town of Pawling Court on Thursday, December 10, 2015.
