Rhinebeck woman charged with felony driving while intoxicated

Rhinebeck, New York – On November 9, 2015, New York State Police from the Rhinebeck barracks arrested Sharon M. Cody, 55 years old, of Rhinebeck, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated, a Class E Felony.

Troopers assisting the Village of Rhinebeck Police Department with a traffic stop interviewed the driver of the vehicle who identified herself as Sharon Cody.  Following an investigation conducted by the arresting officer, Cody was found to be intoxicated.

Cody was charged with Felony DWI when a criminal history revealed a prior DWI related conviction from 2008.

Cody supplied police with a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .15% and was issued appearance tickets directing her to appear before the Town of Rhinebeck Court on November 18, 2015.
