Stephen Donovan Studying Abroad this Semester

ONEONTA, NY (11/11/2015)(readMedia)– Stephen Donovan of Pawling, NY, is one of 47 SUNY Oneonta students studying abroad this semester. Donovan, a senior majoring in Criminal Justice, is studying at John Cobat University in Italy.

SUNY Oneonta offers study abroad and exchange programs in Finland, Ghana, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, South Korea, Sweden and Taiwan through the Office of International Education, plus a variety of short-term, faculty-led programs throughout the year. Oneonta students also have access to more than 600 study abroad and exchange programs through the SUNY network.

To increase access to study abroad opportunities, SUNY Oneonta has established four special scholarships to support students who might otherwise not have the financial means to study abroad. Made possible through gifts from alumni, faculty, staff and community members, the College at Oneonta Foundation 30th Anniversary Scholarship, the Bill and Khuki Woolever Scholarship and the Dr. Warren and Mrs. Rita Wellman Scholarship are awarded each year to qualifying students.
