Two New York City women charged with entering Greenhaven Correctional Facility with drugs

Beekman, New York – On November 10, 2015, New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested 33- year-old Dolores A. Stevenson and Phedra Jenkins, age 42, both of New York, New York, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree, a Class B Felony, Promoting Prison Contraband 1st Degree, a Class D Felony, Promoting Prison Contraband in the 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, and Criminal Possession of Marihuana 5th Degree, a Class B Misdemeanor.

Troopers were contacted to assist the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision Office of Special Investigations with the arrest of Stevenson and Jenkins, who enetered the Greenhaven Correctional facility to visit an inmate with approximately 40 grams of Marihuana and 7 grams of crack cocaine. Troopers took both into custody and transported them to Troop K Headquarters.

The New York State Police were assisted by the NYS DOCCS Office of Special Investigations.

Both defendants were arraigned in the Town of Washington Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail. They are scheduled to appear before the Town of Beekman Court on November 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.
