Peekskill man charged with Driving While Intoxicated

Cortlandt, New York – On November 1, 2015, New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested 26-year-old Marcos E. Osorto-Mejia, of Peekskill, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.
Troopers conducted a lawful vehicle and traffic stop on the vehicle Osorto-Mejia was operating on State Route 9 for speeding. Following an investigation conducted by the arresting officer, Osorto-Mejia was found to be intoxicated at the time of the stop.
Osorto-Mejia provided a positive breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .16% and was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear before the Town of Cortlandt Court on November 9, 2015 at 9:00 a.m.
