Toddlers and parents will participate in fun filled 45 minute sessions that include listening to books, music, movement, finger plays, nursery rhymes and other related activities designed especially for active toddlers. Each session is followed by an open exploration time for children so parents can socialize. Registration is required.

(2 1/2 – 3 1/2 year olds & a caregiver)

Location: Main Library

A weekly family literacy program that introduces children to group programs with 45 minute sessions that include listening to books, music, movement, finger plays, nursery rhymes, flannel board activities and more. Registration is required. Please call the library at 855-3444.

1:00pm – 2:00pm – Intermediate Hatha Yoga with Maria Polhemus

This program is for adults with prior yoga experience

Location: Community Room – Annex

Hatha Yoga is one of the most popular relaxing forms of exercise.
Come spend an hour with us and enjoy a new found path to tranquility.
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat or blanket.
Each session ends with a guided meditation.Please note: There is a program fee of $4.00.

(4-5 year olds)

Location: Main Library

Our program for 4 – 5 year olds has always focused on pre-reading skills that are important to early reading success in kindergarten, but now there’s more! We want to give your child a S.M.A.R.T. Start by including Science, Math and Reading Together! Each week we’ll include either a science or math based activity to complement the program’s strong literacy activities. Now our programs offer your children even more learning activities before they head off to kindergarten! (No session Nov. 24th) Registration is required. Please call the library at 855-3444.
4:00pm – 5:00pm – Books & Blocks
(Grades K – 2)

Location: Community Room

Come listen to a story and imagine what the building possibilities are! Then put your imagination in high gear and get ready to create many different kinds of structures. Weekly challenges will guide students to think about their structures and build within a specified criteria. Registration is required.
4:30pm – 5:30pm – Doctor Who Fan Club

Location: Meeting Room

Always feel like an outcast as you discuss the weeping angels, bad wolf, or the silence with people who look at you like your crazy? Ever look at someone and say “EXTERMINATE”? Then join us as we celebrate everything Doctor Who!! There are a lot of us out there including me (your teen programmer). We will be getting together to watch our favorite episodes, play some Dr. Who games, and enjoy being a fan club together!
