Obituary, Kenneth C. Mead

 

Stormville – Kenneth C. Mead of Stormville passed away peacefully on November 1, 2015. He was 97.

Born on September 13, 1918 in Clove Branch, NY to the late Clarence and Elizabeth Horton Mead.

Kenneth enlisted and proudly served his country during World War II in the United States Army in Africa and Italy. While serving his country he was a member of the 339th infantry 85th Division.

He worked for 33 years for the Taconic State Parkway.

Kenneth was a man who enjoyed helping others, he set many examples to his family and friends that will be cherished for generations.

Kenneth is survived by his sister in law Dorothea Mead, His Nieces Mary Tselikis and her husband Peter, Kathy Kelly and her husband Bill, Grand Nephews David and Matthew Kelly, Gregory Tselikis and great niece Laura Tselikis.

Kenneth was predeceased by his brothers Gerald and Clinton Mead.

Friends may call on Thursday November 5, 2015 from 10-11am at 900 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Funeral Service will follow at 11am at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow in Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
