Yorktown Heights Woman Charged With DWI in Patterson

Putnam County Sheriff Donald B. Smith reports the arrest of a Yorktown Heights woman on a charge of DWI.

On October 30, 2015 at 2:52 a.m., Deputy Sheriff Kevin Radovich stopped a motorist who had committed traffic violations on Route 22 in the Town of Patterson. The deputy determined that the driver, identified as Theresa C. Brush, 51, of 237 Tomahawk Street, Yorktown Heights, New York was intoxicated. The deputy arrested Ms. Brush and charged her with Driving While Intoxicated, a misdemeanor, after the woman failed a series of standardized field sobriety tests. The defendant was processed at the Putnam County Correctional Facility and held pending arraignment.

If found guilty of the misdemeanor charge, the defendant could face up to a year in jail and a fine of up to $1,000.00.
