Dover man charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by drugs

Dover, New York – On October 21, 2015, New York State Police from the Dover Plains barracks arrested 18-year-old Robert D. Svrcek, of Dover, New York, for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a Violation.

Troopers stopped Svrcek on Wheeler Road for a vehicle and traffic infraction. Subsequent to an investigation conducted by a State Police Drug Recognition Expert, the defendant was found to be driving while his ability was impaired by drugs.

Svrcek was issued appearance tickets directing him to appear before the Town of Dover Court on October 29, 2015 at 6:00 p.m.
