Peekskill man charged with Felony Driving While Intoxicated

Croton-on-Hudson, New York – On October 17, 2015, New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Manuel H. Niguela-Pesantez, 35 years old, of Peekskill, New York, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Felony.

Troopers stopped the vehicle Niguela-Pesantez was operating for speeding on State Route 9.  The defendant was found to be intoxicated following an investigation conducted at the time of the stop.

Niguela-Pesantez supplied a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .22%, more than two times the legal limit of intoxication.  He was charged with Felony DWI when a criminal history revealed a previous DWI related conviction within the preceding 10 years.

He was issued traffic tickets ordering him to appear before the Village of Croton-on-Hudson Court on October 28, 2015.
