Beacon woman charged with felony Driving While Intoxicated

Beacon, New York – On October 18, 2015, New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested Kathleen E. Finnegan, 29 years old, of Beacon, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated, a Class E Felony.

Troopers stopped the vehicle Finnegan was operating on Fishkill Avenue when they observed her operating a motor vehicle without wearing a seatbelt.  Following an investigation conducted by the arresting officer, Finnegan was found to be intoxicated at the time of the stop.

Finnegan was charged with Felony DWI when it was discovered that she was convicted of a DWI related offense in December of 2009.

The defendant supplied police with a positive breath sample that yielded a Blood Alcohol Content of 0.14%.  Finnegan was issued traffic tickets returnable to the City of Beacon Court on October 29, 2015.
