PRESS RELEASE

LaGrange, New York – On September 15, 2015, New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested Dolan L. Hosier Jr., 47 years old, of Poughkeepsie, New York, for Burglary 2nd Degree, a Class D Felony.

On September 2, 2015, Troopers were contacted by a LaGrange resident reporting the theft of her late husband’s jewelry.  Following an investigation conducted by the State Police, it was discovered that Hosier unlawfully entered her residence and stole the jewelry in July of 2015.  Hosier, an acquaintance to the victim, had been hired to complete odd jobs outside of her home.

Hosier was taken into custody with the assistance of New York State Parole and arraigned before the Town of LaGrange Justice Court.  He was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail and is due to re-appear in court on September 18, 2015
