Two Albany County men arrested following burglary investigation

Chatham, New York – New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Livingston barracks arrested Bryan C. Hills and Christian C. Bonhotel following a larceny reported to police in August of 2015.

The complainant contacted State Police in August to report that approximately $10,000 worth of jewelry and coins were stolen from his home within the last several months.  The homeowner suspected that Hills, owner of Mayhem Managers cleaning company, had stolen the items while cleaning the residence.  Hills had been employed by the victim for approximately 1 year.

Hills, 30 years old, of Watervliet, was arrested on September 15, 2015 and charged with Grand Larceny 3rd Degree, a Class D Felony.

Also charged was 25-year-old Christian C. Bonhotel, of Cohoes.  Bonhotel was arrested on September 14, 2015 and charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd Degree, a Class D Felony.

Hills was arraigned in the Town of Claverack Court and remanded to the Columbia County Jail on cash/bail, scheduled to appear in the Town of Chatham Court on September 23, 2015.

Bonhotel was arraigned in the City of Albany Court and remanded to the Albany County Jail on cash/bond bail, scheduled to appear on September 17, 2015.
