Peekskill man arrested for DWI following traffic stop

Peekskill, New York – On September 6, 2015, New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks charged Matthew Ashley, 27 years old, of Peekskill, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.
Troopers stopped a vehicle traveling on State Route 9 in the City of Peekskill for traveling in excess of 80 miles per hour. Subsequent investigation revealed that the driver, who identified himself as Ashley, was intoxicated.
Ashley supplied a positive breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content
of .10%. He was released and directed to appear before the City of Peekskill Court on September 24, 2015.
