Mahopac man charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated

Greenburgh, New York – On September 6, 2015, New York State Police from the Hawthorne barracks arrested Daniel Ivezaj, 45 years old, of Mahopac, New York, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

Troopers monitoring the Sprain Brook Parkway observed a white sedan traveling in excess of 85 miles per hour in a posted 55 mile per hour zone.   A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation found the driver, Ivezaj, to be intoxicated.

Ivezaj submitted to a chemical test yielding a Blood Alcohol Content of 0.18%, more than two times the legal limit of intoxication.  He was issued traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Greenburgh Court on September 15, 2015.
