Queens man charged with possessing stolen vehicle

PRESS RELEASE
Putnam Valley, New York – On September 1, 2015, New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Cortlandt Barracks arrested Tyquan L. Long, 29 years old, of Queens, New York, for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd Degree, a Class D Felony.

Troopers stopped a northbound 2007 Lexus on the Taconic State Parkway for speeding.  During the Troopers investigation, they discovered that the vehicle was reported stolen to the NYPD.  The driver of the vehicle, Long, was taken into custody and transported to the Cortlandt Barracks.

Long was charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd Degree and transported to the City of Peekskill Police Department and is awaiting arraignment.
