THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 3, 2015
1. Today is a “B” Day.
2. The first high school Student Council meeting will be on Tuesday, September 8th after school. All clubs MUST have a representative.
3. Just a reminder the dress code is in effect. Inappropriate clothing will not be tolerated. In appropriate clothing includes no spaghetti straps, no mid drift shirts, no tube tops, no inappropriate logos on clothing, no short shorts or short skirts, no hats and no visible undergarments.
4. Modified Football will meet outside on the bleachers today after school Practice will be until 3:30 pm today through Friday. If you have any questions see Coach Kenny in room 1114.
5. Attention 7th and 8th grade boys and girls interested in participating in Modified Cross Country this year. The team will meet on Thursday, September 3rd, after school at 2:10 pm on the track. Please wear a pair of sneakers.
6. Attention 7th and 8th grade girls: Modified Volleyball practice and tryouts begin TODAY after school in the high school gym. See Mrs. Cleaveland for details.
7. As a reminder, all teachers please use Academic Screen Sheets for all high school athletes.
8. Attention Cosplay Club: Our first meeting is next Tuesday, September 8th at 2:15 pm. Location to be announced. This meeting is only for last year’s members – 6th grade will be welcome in mid-September. Any questions, see Mrs. Deon in the middle school.
9. Attention all student drivers! If you want to drive to school you MUST see Mary in the high school office. You must also attend a Teen Driving class if you have not done so in the past. Mr. Murphy will be checking the parking lot to make sure you have a parking permit. You must get a new parking permit every year.
10. Welcome back! Auditions for this years’ fall production of You Can’t Take It With You will be on Tuesday, September 8th from 2-5 pm. Audition materials are available on the bulletin board outside the chorus room. Please pick up your audition materials ASAP so that you can prepare in time for the audition. See Mr. Stockslager for more information.
11. Do you like to sing? Can you or are interested in learning how to beat box? Then come audition for TrebleMakers, Dover’s own high school A Cappella group on Wednesday, September 9th from 2-3:30 pm in the chorus room. Please prepare 30-40 seconds of a pop song that best suits your voice to sing at the audition. You will also be learning a song at the audition with the current group members. Please arrive already warmed up!
12. Attention all Varsity Girls Soccer players – please meet in Ms. Tanzi’s room after school today.
13. The 5-hour Driving Course will be held on Tuesday, September 15th from 5-9:30 pm in the middle school cafeteria. See Mary in the high school officer to sign-up.
