Highland man arrested for Identity theft and Grand Larceny

Fishkill, New York – On September 1, 2015, New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Wappinger barracks arrested Bryan J. Vargas, age 31, of Highland, New York, for Identity Theft 1st, a Class D Felony, and Grand Larceny 4th, a Class E Felony.
An investigation revealed that Vargas had used a not-for-profit agency’s credit card to make over $2,000 in fraudulent purchases.
Vargas is scheduled to appear at the Town of Fishkill Justice Court on September 9, 2015, at 9:00 a.m.
