Carmel woman charged with petit larceny

Cortlandt, New York – On September 1^, 2015, New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Jessica Fox, 43 years old, of Carmel, New York, for Petit Larceny, a Class A Misdemeanor.

State Police were dispatched to Kohl’s Department Store for a reported larceny.  Following an investigation conducted with the assistance of Kohl’s loss prevention, it was discovered that Fox selected several items from the store and only paid for one item.  She then exited the store failing to pay for approximately $283 worth of merchandise.  Loss prevention recovered the items outside of the store and Fox left prior to police arrival.

Fox was taken into custody at her residence and issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Cortlandt Court on September 11, 2015 at 9:00 a.m.
