Mount Pleasant, New York – On August 29, 2015, the New York State Police in Hawthorne arrested Robert D. Reichert, 22 years old, of Yorktown, New York, for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, a Misdemeanor.  Also arrested was Colin J. Rice, age 26, of Mohegan Lake, New York, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.

Troopers responded to the area of mile post marker 7.0 northbound on the Taconic State Parkway for an erratic vehicle complaint.  Reports received by police alleged that the suspect vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed and cutting off vehicles.

Rice, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was found to possess approximately 1 gram of heroin.
