Southeast man charged following residential burglary investigation in Patterson

Patterson, New York – On August 25, 2015, New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Brewster barracks arrested John Martin Jr, 32 years old, of Southeast, New York, for Burglary 2nd Degree, a Class C Felony.

On July 24, 2015, Troopers were dispatched to a Patterson residence to investigate the report of a residential burglary.  Subsequent to an investigation conducted by the State Police, it was discovered that Martin had entered the victim’s home and stole US Currency.

Martin was arraigned before the Town of Southeast Justice Court and remanded to the Putnam County Jail on $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.  He is scheduled to re-appear before the Town of Patterson Court on September 10, 2015 at 5:30 p.m.
