Dover man charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by drugs

PRESS RELEASE
Dover, New York – On August 10, 2015, New York State Police from the Dover barracks arrested 23-year-old James D. Moore of Dover, New York, for Operating a Motor Vehicle Impaired by Drugs, a Misdemeanor.

Moore was stopped by police on Dover Furnace Road for failing to maintain his lane of travel.  During an interview conducted by the arresting officer, it was determined that Moore was impaired by drugs at the time of the traffic stop.

Moore was evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert who confirmed that he was impaired by drugs.

Moore was issued traffic tickets ordering him to appear before the Town of Dover Court on August 13, 2015.
