Hillsdale woman charged with Driving While Intoxicated and resisting arrest

PRESS RELEASE

Copake, New York – On August 1, 2015, New York State Police from the Livingston barracks arrested Kristine A. Link, 42 years old, of Hillsdale, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated, Resisting Arrest, Unlawful Possession of Marihuana and several vehicle and traffic offenses.

Troopers stopped the vehicle Link was operating on State Route 23 for speeding, failure to maintain lane and for having an inadequate brake lamp.   While police interviewed Link, they observed clues that indicated she was intoxicated at the time of the stop.

While attempting to place Link in custody for DWI, she physically resisted.  Following her arrest, she was found to be in possession of approximately 8.4 grams of marihuana.

Link was arraigned before the Town of Copake Court.  She was released on her own recognizance and is schedule to re-appear in Copake Court on August 24, 2015.
