Yonkers man charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated

PRESS RELEASE
East Fishkill – On August 2, 2015, New York State Police from the Stormville barracks stopped a vehicle on the Taconic State Parkway for failing to maintain its designated lane. The driver of the vehicle, Jamel L. Kerson, age 39, of Yonkers, New York, was found to be intoxicated.  He was transported to SP Stormville, where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.18%.  Kerson was charged with:
  • Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, Unclassified Misdemeanor
  • Other vehicle and traffic violations including Moved from Lane Unsafely

Kerson was released to a sober party and issued appearance tickets returnable to the Town of East Fishkill Court on August 12, 2015 at 4:00 p.m.
