 State Police at Cortlandt seek the public’s assistance to help locate a missing Buchanan man

Following a tip called in by a New York State Police Facebook page follower, Troncone has been located at a nearby hospital.  The State Police would like to thank members of the public who assisted with this investigation.

The New York State Police at Cortlandt is seeking the public’s assistance to help locate a missing 51-year-old Village of Buchanan man.

Vincent Troncone, a 51 year-old white male who is about 5’8″ tall, and resides in the Village of Buchanan was last seen on Wednesday, August 5th, at about 1:00 p.m. in the area of Madeline Avenue and Sixth Street in Verplanck.

The State Police were notified at around 10:00 a.m. on August 6, 2015 and commenced an investigation.

State Police units, including Aviation and Bloodhound Darby, searched the area and were assisted by the Verplanck Fire Department Marine Unit. Residents along the Hudson River communities in Northern Westchester and Northern Rockland Counties, as well as any Hudson River boaters are asked to be vigilant and contact the State Police with any information regarding this matter.
