Three New York City men arrested following traffic stop

Chatham, New York – On July 31, 2015, New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Livingston barracks arrested 34-year-old Richard J. Marc, Roland J. David, age 30, and Marland C. David, 24 years old, all of Brooklyn, New York, for Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd Degree and Criminal Possession of Forgery Devices.

Troopers from Troop T in Albany stopped a 2015 Chevrolet Impala as it approached the Taconic Toll Plaza from the westbound I-90 ramp for several vehicle and traffic violations, including speeding.

Subsequent investigation revealed that the three New York City men unlawfully possessed several hundred fraudulent credit and debit cards in addition to a lap top computer and a credit card skimmer.

The incident remains under investigation and additional charges are possible.
David, Marc and David were arraigned before the Town of Chatham Court and remanded to the Columbia County Jail.  Marc was remanded on $50,000 bail, Roland David was remanded on $30,000 bail, and Marland David was remanded on $25,000 bail.  The defendants are schedule to return to court at a later date.
