Pleasant Valley man arrested under Leandra’s Law

PRESS RELEASE

Pleasant Valley, New York – On July 28, 2015, New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested Collin W. Vogg, 24 years old, of Pleasant Valley, New York, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated under Leandra’s Law, a Class E Felony.

Troopers were dispatched by Dutchess County 911 to a one-car crash on Creek Road.  While Troopers interviewed the driver of the vehicle, identified as Vogg, they observed clues that indicated he was impaired by drugs at the time of the crash.

Vogg was charged with Aggravated DWI under Leandra’s Law for having a child passenger under the age of 16.

Vogg was arraigned before the Town of LaGrange Court and remanded to Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail.  He is due to appear before the Town of Pleasant Valley Court on  August 3, 2015.
