State Police Liberty Arrest White Sulpher Man for Felony DWI and Drug Possession

Wednesday June 22nd, 2015 Liberty Troopers arrested a While Sulpher man for Felony Driving While Intoxicated and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Liberty Troopers responded to a Sullivan County 911 poll for an erratic operator in the Town of Rockland on Wednesday night.  Troopers located the vehicle, being operated with a missing tire, on the side of the road.  The operator Eugene Nietzel, of White Sulpher, was interviewed by Troopers and found to be impaired. Troopers also found Marihuana and other narcotics in the vehicle.  Nietzel was arrested and transported to SP Liberty.  Nietzel was charged with Felony Driving While Intoxicated, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, Obstruction of Governmental Administration 2nd and numerous vehicle and traffic violations. Nietzel is due to appear in Town of Rockland Court at a later date.
