Hyde Park man arrested for probation violation

Hyde Park, New York – On July 14, 2015, New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Rhinebeck barracks arrested Michael A. Cerasaro, 62 years old, of Hyde Park, New York, for two counts of Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child, a Class E Felony, and for Violating the Sex Offender Registry, a Class E Felony.In June of 2015, Investigators were notified of a probation violation committed by Cerasaro by Dutchess County Probation. Following an evaluation of computer equipment that was seized from Cerasaro, the State Police Computer Crimes Unit discovered two images of child pornography on his computer.

Cerasaro was arraigned before the Town of Hyde Park Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $500 cash bail or $1,000 bond. He is due to return to the Town of Hyde Park Court on August 25, 2015.
