Man Threatens Family With Knife During Dispute

PRESS RELEASE

On July 18th, 2015, the members of the New York State Police, Troop F, at SP Ellenville, announce the arrest of a male subject for menacing in the Town of Shawangunk N.Y.

Arrested was Jeremy A. Flood, age 20, of Pine Bush, New York who was charged with Menacing 2nd and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th, both misdemeanors.

The New York State Police and Town of Shawangunk Police Department responded to a home in Pine Bush NY for a domestic dispute. The investigation revealed that during the dispute, Flood picked up a kitchen knife and threatened to kill a family member. The situation was diffused by other family members prior to the patrols arrival. No one was injuried during the dispute and Flood remained on scene. He was taken into custody without incident.

Jeremy A. Flood was arrested and processed at SP Ellenville. He was arraigned in the Town of Gardiner Court before Town Justice Rich who remanded Flood to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $1,000.00 cash bail or $2,000.00 secured bond. Flood is to reappear in the Town of Shawangunk Court on July 20th, 2015 at 6:00pm.
