Nearly 1,000 Students Honored at 126th Commencement

ONEONTA, NY (07/20/2015)(readMedia)– Nearly 1,000 students were honored at SUNY Oneonta’s 126th commencement on May 16, 2015. Students who completed the requirements for bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees and certificates of advanced study in the summer or fall of 2014 or the spring of 2015 participated in three main ceremonies in the Dewar Arena of the Alumni Field House. Caryl M. Stern, a 1978 graduate of SUNY Oneonta and president and chief executive officer of the United States Fund for UNICEF, addressed the graduates.

Christopher Boyle of Pawling (12564), NY, graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Dietetics.

Samantha Colella of Patterson (12563), NY, graduated with a BS in Food Service & Restaurant Adm.

Dawn Condit of Amenia (12501), NY, graduated with a MSED in Educational Technol Specialist.

Rosalee DeHuff of Pawling (12564), NY, graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Theatre.

Gregory Eisenhut of Dover Plains (12522), NY, graduated with a BS in Biology.

Kylie Harrington of Poughquag (12570), NY, graduated with a BS in Psychology.

Anna Jelinek of Holmes (12531), NY, graduated with a BS in Environmental Science.

Shane Lyle of Millerton (12546), NY, graduated with a BS in Business Economics.

Eric Ronis of Millbrook (12545), NY, graduated with a BS in History.

Irene Rovtar of Patterson (12563), NY, graduated with a BS in Fashion and Textiles.

Melissa Sullivan of Patterson (12563), NY, graduated with a BS in Biology.

Michael Wilde of Dover Plains (12522), NY, graduated with a BS in Childhood Education (1-6).
