Wappinger man arrested following collision investigation

Poughkeepsie, New York – On July 12, 2015, New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested William T. Foy, 22 years old, of Wappinger, New York, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

Troopers traveling on New Hackensack Road observed a vehicle off the roadway in the area of Greenvale Farms Road.  The driver of the vehicle, identified as Foy, was intoxicated at the time of the crash.  Foy was the sole occupant of the vehicle and no injuries were reported to police.

Foy provided a positive breath sample that yielded a Blood Alcohol Content of .20% and was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear before the Town of Poughkeepsie Court on July 20, 2015.
