Wappinger man arrested for driving while intoxicated

East Fishkill, New York – On July 13, 2015, New York State Police from the Stormville barracks arrested Christopher L. Albea, 42 years old, of Wappinger, New York, for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1^st Degree, a Class E Felony, and Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.Albea was stopped by police on Van Wyck Lane for a seatbelt violation.  While Troopers interviewed Albea, they observed clues that indicated he was intoxicated.

Albea was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1^st Degree when investigation revealed that his New York State Driving Privileges were suspended due to a previous DWI related offense.

Albea was scheduled to appear before the Town of East Fishkill Court on July 14, 2015 at 8:30 a.m.
