Two Highland area residents arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance

07/08/15 – The New York State Police – Highland BCI announce the arrest of 23 year old, Dianna Curtis and 36 year old Daniel McCollum, both residents of Highland, NY, for charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th, a class C felony, as well as for other misdemeanor drug related charges.
A police investigation ultimately led to a search of the above defendant’s residence wherein both subjects were found to possess a quantity of synthetic narcotic pills, of controlled substance nature, without a lawful prescription.
Both defendants were arraigned in the Town of Lloyd Court by Town Justice Elia. McCollum was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail/$25,000 bond and Curtis was remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $3,000 cash bail/ $10,000 bond. Both defendants are due to return to the Town of Lloyd Court on July 9, 2015 at 3pm.
