Two Westchester County men charged with burglary

Morgan Friend Kevin Singleton
Cortlandt, New York – On June 29, 2015, New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested 32-year-old Morgan L. Friend of Mohegan Lake, and Kevin T. Singleton, 31 years old, of Cortlandt, New York, for Burglary 3rd Degree, a Class D Felony.
Troopers were dispatched to the Toddville School, located on Locust Avenue in Cortlandt, when Good Samaritans heard people inside of the abandoned building.
When Police arrived on scene, they located Friend and Singleton inside of the school removing copper.
Friend and Singleton were arraigned before the Town of Cortlandt Court. Singleton was remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $1000 cash bail and Friend was remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $5000 cash bail.
